LINOCUT WORKSHOP : the natural world

This workshop is for beginner /intermediate students. 

Location: South Maclean

Cost: $220

This is a one-day workshop. You can arrive around 9:30 for a cuppa.

 Class time 10am - 4pm

Student number: up to 8 people

Kell will guide you through the basic techniques to create an effective design. Feel free to bring your own drawings or design ideas.

All materials are provided to use on the day. You get to take home your limited edition prints and your lino plate (which can be cut at home for future designs).

Kell also has a small shop where you can buy lino cutting tools, ink, rollers, barens and paper., in order for you to continue cutting & printing at home.

We will design, carve and print a (one colour) linocut print You can choose to cut a bird, mandala, botanical or insect, or bring your own ideas. 

You don't have to know how to draw, as templates are available to use to help you get started. Block size is A5

It's recommended that you bring an apron and wear comfy closed in shoes. 

Please bring your lunch. I will provide tea/coffee and bikkies. The large studio is comfortable, set in 5 acres of bush.
